LUNGER CLAIMS KYLE MILLER MEMORIAL VICTORY AT ERIEZ SPEEDWAY
Hammett, PA (June 21, 2026) — Dennis Lunger Jr. added another highlight to his accomplished racing career on Sunday night, claiming the prestigious Kyle Miller Memorial at Eriez Speedway against a competitive 16-car field.
After qualifying third fastest in his All-State Career School qualifying group and finishing third in his Close Racing Supply heat race, Lunger earned the pole position for the 20-lap main event from the Five Eight Sport Shirts redraw and never looked back. The 71L machine led the field to green and maintained control throughout the feature, securing the Kyle Miller Memorial victory and the winner's share of the purse.
Jeremy Double put together another strong Economod Mania Tour performance, advancing to a runner-up finish after qualifying third in his group and placing second in Heat 1. Garrett Calvert rounded out the podium with a third-place effort after winning Heat 2.
One of the feature's biggest movers was Zack Eller. After a difficult heat race result, Eller charged from the 13th starting position to finish fourth at the checkered flag, earning one of the night's most impressive drives and the Wedge Motorsports Hard Charger of the race. Steve Simon completed the top five.
Bryson Hill, who paced the field in Qualifying Group 1 and captured the opening heat race, crossed the line sixth. Gary Sullivan finished seventh, followed by Arianna Samuelson, Buzz Seitz, and Kyle Reinwald to complete the top ten.
The evening began with All-State Career School qualifying, where Hill and Calvert recorded the fastest times in their respective groups. Where Hill claimed the Lunger Motorsports Quick Time award. Heat race victories sponsored by Close Racing Supply went to Hill and Calvert.
The Economod Mania Tour would like to thank the Miller family, Eriez Speedway, Close Racing Supply, All-State Career School, Five Eight Sport Shirts and all of the sponsors, teams, and fans who helped make the Kyle Miller Memorial another successful event honoring Kyle Miller's legacy.
The Economod Mania Tour’s next stop will be at Tri-City Raceway Park in Franklin, PA on July 10th. The event will pay $1000 to win.
